Operations Managers

Task includes but not restricted to are:
• Quality control at camp
• Camp supplies i.e. food & maintenance supplies (vehicles & camps) - Camp infrastructure: good technical knowledge of cars and electrics/plumbing is necessary
• Analysis of camp consumption reports of food & drinks, fuel etc.
• Analysis of camp inventories
• Vehicles (fleet of about 13) : follow up maintenance & Licensing
• Updating camp operations manual
• Park ticket: control & summaries
• Expense sheets: control of camp expenditures
• Supervision of 2 NBO based staff/assistants
• Supervision of NBO based transfers (2 operating vehicles & subcontracting)


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Kenya citizen
• Male candidates only due to the nature of the job.
• Mainly based in Nairobi with occasional travel up to camps (Mara and Laikipia).
• Preferably age 30 yrs and above with min 5 years experience.
• Experience in tourism especially hotel/HR/logistics/stock controls/analysis will be a definite advantage

Start: July 1st

Duration: Five year contract
