Country Sales Manager Job Vacancy: East African Breweries

We wish to recruit a dynamic and focused Country Manager to oversee the operations in Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo regions.

The Country Manager will be located in Kigali, Rwanda and will report to the Managing Director.

The key focus areas of this role include:
  • Developing and leading high level route to market entry strategies in the countries.
  • Leading the sales team and people management.
  • Representing the company at senior levels.
  • Ensuring volume sales delivery.
  • Executing marketing strategy programmes.
  • Supporting portfolio and brand plans for each market.
  • Identifying and recruiting country field sales representatives in each country.
  • To identify, lead and manage distributor partnerships.
Qualifications and skills required:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years experience at senior management supervising people in a large multinational FMCG environment.
  • A proven track record in developing and driving sales.
  • Extensive experience in forecasting, planning and budgeting.
  • In depth experience in trade and customer marketing.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English, Swahili and French will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills even at senior government levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to see the bigger picture.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience at senior level preferably in an FMCG environment
