FARM Africa invites all professional accounting/CPA firms interested in the provision of Internal Auditing services to the Maendeleo Agricultural Technology Fund to submit their proposals to its offices.
The assignment will involve auditing three projects in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
The locations of the main offices of the projects to be audited are Kisumu town, Kampala and Masasi via Mtwara, Tanzania.
Each project has a budget of GBP 80,000 over a period of 3 years.
Each project consists of a consortia of development organizations and is managed by one organization (Grantee). Project activities involve production, processing and marketing of agricultural products with smallholder farmers and groups.
Firms interested should meet the following basic criteria:

Firms interested should meet the following basic criteria:
- Be holders of practicing certificate(s) issued in accordance with the Accountants Act.
- Have a high level of competence in the International Financial
- Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Demonstrate capacity to provide efficient internal auditing services in adherence to agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrate capability to advice on the improvement of existing controls and governance processes.
