KWAL RWANDA SARL is a subsidiary of Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL)with the head office in Nairobi, Kenya.

KWAL is the leading manufacturer and distributor of wines and spirits in East and Central Africa.

The company has established subsidiaries in Rwanda and Uganda and operates three duty free shops in Kenya and Rwanda.

KWAL RWANDA SARL operates a duty free shop located at the Kigali International Airport.

The duty Free shop caters for international airlines departing passengers and entitled diplomats.

The shop offers a wide range of duty free merchandise sourced from all over the world that include designer perfumes, confectioneries,electronics apparels, wines and spirits among others.

Sales Assistants

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to shop supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

• Personalised selling to the duty free customers
• Offering quality and efficient customer care
• Receive cash in various major foreign currencies at the checkout
• Efficiently process the customers paperwork
• Prepare sales report at the end of shift
• Sales administrative duties and shop floor stock management
• Handle customer queries and complaints
• Conduct regular telesales to customers
• Gather market intelligence on ongoing basis
• Customers relationship management
  

Competencies and Qualifications

• A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a business related field preferably sales and marketing.
• Proficiency in English a must,Knowledge of French, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage.
• Computer literate. Knowledge of Pastel software is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years experience in similar position or in busy retail outlet.
• A team player with good presentation,communication and interpersonal skills,personal integrity,result oriented, confident individual.
• An analytical thinker, creative and innovative.
• Must be willing to work in shifts and sometimes at night.
• Age between 24 and 30 years.
