Scope of the job
The holder of this position who will report to the Finance Director will be required to ensure that Financial accounting function fulfills the overall Tetra Pak objective by way of adherence to Global best practices and organizational reporting guidelines.
He/She will offer business support to customers and colleagues; in addition he will be expected to ensure efficient and effective running of the general administration section of the organization.
Major Responsibilities will include: -

Major Responsibilities will include: -
- Overseeing the Financial Accounting function and supervising the Accounting and Administration departments.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and liaison with both Internal and external auditors.
- Tax planning and ensuring compliance to local tax rules including liaison with the tax authorities.
- Responsible for company assets & property insurances both local and at group level.
- Responsible for monitoring adherence to corporate governance.
- Oversee efficient running of the administration section of the organization.
- Leading, training and mentoring the accounting and administration teams.
Qualifications: -
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field
- Qualified Professional Accountant – Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) or equivalent
- Should possess knowledge & understanding of Financial Reporting Methods
- Computer knowledge with practical use of accounting systems
Experience: -
- At least five years post qualification practical experience in a similar position
- The incumbent should also possess strong background in financial management which includes experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience in a manufacturing concern gives a distinct advantage
