Our client, The ICT Board wishes to fill the following positions urgently:-

Governance Officer
Job Ref. MN 4002

Job Profile
  • To ensure the highest standards of professionalism and integrity are demonstrated by all
  • To develop, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program.
  • Manage corporate risk management, corruption prevention.
  • To develop the relevant risk assessment and mitigation matrices for all major TCIP activities.
  • Develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct.
  • To provide substantive leadership and expertise to the ICT Board.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
  • Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations and take appropriate actions.
  • Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organization.
  • Develop an effective compliance training program.
  • Monitor the performance of the Compliance Program.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the IRMPF as outlined the Treasury Circular No. 3/2009 of Government of Kenya.
Person Profile
  • A degree in social sciences or law. A masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • Working experience of not less than 6 years in governance.
  • Governance and compliance experience with development projects.
Administrative Assistant
Job Ref. MN 4003

Job Profile
  • Maintaining the Manager’s diary and arranging appointments and meetings as appropriate
  • Receiving visitors, establishing the nature and priority of their needs and referring them to the appropriate officer
  • Operating office equipment
  • Making travel arrangements and providing other administrative back-up support to the office as necessary.
  • Supervision of support staff.
Person Profile
  • A degree in Social Sciences.
  • Served for a minimum period of six (6) years as a PA, three of which must be at a senior level in a reputable organization.
  • Shown outstanding professional competence and administrative ability.
  • Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and graphics computer packages; and
  • Well developed human relations skills.
Project Manager (4 Positions)
Job Ref. MN 4004

The 4 Project Managers/Consultants will cover the following 4 program thematic areas that can be summarized as follows;
  1. Project Manager - Digital Inclusion: Principally overseeing the delivery of the project of digital villages (Pasha) including the grants disbursements, capacity support and training.
  2. Project Manager - Content Development / Management: The delivery of a project to stimulate local applications development of local digital content, government.
  3. Project Manager - eGov Applications: Working to assist the department of egovernment with the delivery of egovernment digitization in agreed anchor departments, and enhancement of the governments PPP framework for egovernment delivery.
  4. Project Manager – EGovernment Shared Services: Working to assist the department of EGovernment with the delivery of the project to establish Shared services practices with the department of EGovernment. This includes capacity building programs
Job Scope Applicable To All Project Managers
  • Responsible for a specific thematic area and be the overall contact person.
  • In charge of development and implementation of the required systems and processes to support the project.
  • Responsible for client relationships with the project stakeholders. He/she will be expected to ensure service and / or operating standards and strict timelines are met (internally and externally).
  • Work closely with the ICT community both locally and internationally in developing best practices and thought leadership around project design and delivery.
  • Project Planning and Administration and liaison with key stakeholders / experts.
  • Project Communication & Reporting.
  • Project Monitoring and Evaluation.
Person Profile Applicable To All Project Managers
  • Have a bachelor's degree and/or Postgraduate qualification in a combination of the following areas Computer studies, Information Systems, Management, Project Management or related areas.
  • Have at least 5-8 years experience of successfully managing projects and specific knowledge in the thematic areas of choice.
  • Posses excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Previous experience in World Bank funded project will be an advantage.
Employment Duration: 24 months for all the positions.
