Projectionist Job Vacancy: CWS - FilmAid International (FilmAid)

Position: Projectionist

CWS - FilmAid International (FilmAid) invites applications from qualified Kenyans to fill the above position. The position, based in Nairobi with regular travel to various towns in Kenya

FilmAid International is a non-governmental organization that uses film to promote health, strengthen communities and enrich the lives of the world’s vulnerable and uprooted.

FilmAid is currently implementing programmes in Kakuma and Dadaab refugee camps in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting up and testing sound system and visual systems
2. Operating screening equipment: Sound system and visual systems
3. Organizing and taking responsibility for loading and off loading of equipment
4. Maintaining records of equipment and regular asset count and regular reporting to the Project officer on status of equipment
5. Cleaning and properly storing equipment
6. Servicing and maintaining equipment
7. Perform official work related duties that may arise in the field as deemed appropriate by the immediate authorizing officer
   

Required qualifications and experience

1. Be of Kenyan nationality
2. Hold a certificate in electronics
3. Minimum 1 years Experience in dealing with sound and audio visual systems
4. Should be culturally sensitive and able to work with diverse cultures
5. Must hold a valid driving license
6. Ability to work with minimum supervision
7. Committed to Humanitarian principles and action
