Programme Funding Manager, Africa Job Vacancy: WaterAid

Based in Vauxhall, London with overseas travel, £34,293 pa

At a time when WaterAid begins its next global strategy, the Programme Funding Department has an ambitious target of doubling its income within the next five years and demonstrating best practice in contract management. You will have a key role to play in this working with colleagues in the African Country Programmes.

The Programme Funding Unit sits in the Communications and Fundraising Department and is responsible for developing and supporting funding proposals and reports for WaterAid from institutional donors (multi-laterals, bi-laterals and larger foundations).

This role will provide leadership, management and support for WaterAid's programme funding relationships and contracts (DFID, EC, other government and multilateral donors) across the organisation.

You will need to be a natural and positive manager and leader, with the ability to drive complex projects. Your experience of working with institutional donors will be extensive as well as a confident communicator to a wide range of audiences. The ability to travel is essential.
