Reporting Lines:
The post reports to the Principal Investigator (s).
Budget Responsibility: No budget responsibility

The position holder will spend 80% of time in Mtwapa and 20% in Kilifi.

Job Dimensions:

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high quality clinical care for male and female sex workers.
- To participate in data collection for research, including STI investigations, and a PrEP trial.
- To actively participate in 4 ongoing research protocols, involving both HIV-negative and positive individuals.
- To perform care according to GCP standards, and adhere to ISO 9001:2000 quality management of research care.
Qualification:
Diploma or Diploma in Clinical Medicine and SurgeryExperience:
Post holder will:
a) Be a Clinical Officer with interest in serving vulnerable populations
b) Be sensitive that men who have sex with men is illegal in Kenya
c) Have experience in clinic or field based studies, data collection and GCP.
d) Be trained and experienced in ART
e) Be able to work independently and prioritise their work
f) Be able to work within a team;
g) Have strong writing and communication skills.
