Engineering Job Vacancies

Position of Resident Engineer

Staff will be based in Arusha,Tanzania and he is expected to supervise two Building projects, each of not less than 10,000 square metres, for a period of 24 months.

He will report to the Project Manager, also based in Arusha, and the main duties will be to oversee and Co-ordinate the works upto completion and to prepare "As Built" drawings and Site reports.

A degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc.or equivalent) and 10 years experience in Design and Supervision of Building Works and registered with the Engineers Registration Board (Kenya).

Good knowledge of MS Office Suite,AutoCAD and MS Project Software. Candidates should have been a Resident Engineer to at least one building project of similar magnitude.

Resident Geotechnical Engineer

For Supervision of earthworks for a forthcoming large water impounding earth dam in Northern Kenya. A degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. or equivalent) and 10 years experience in Geotechnical works and registered with the ERB (Kenya).

A post graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Foundations would be an added advantage.

Candidates should have at least one year field experience for an earthwork project, as a Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.

Good knowledge of MS Office Suite,AutoCAD and MS Project Software.
