Clinical Nurse - Intensive Care Unit / High Dependency Unit Job: Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi

The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, a premier teaching and tertiary care referral hospital, invites applications from appropriately qualified individuals for the following position:

Clinical Nurse - Intensive Care Unit / High Dependency Unit

Reporting to the Nursing Manager -Critical Care, the Clinical Nurse is responsible to promote and maintain high standards of professional nursing care to meet the needs of critically ill patients and their families.

S/he will participate actively in decision making related to patient care and will ensure patients' safety, dignity and respect is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Nursing (KRN / KRCHN) from an accredited School of Nursing and a Diploma in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.

S/he should have current licensure with the Kenya Nursing Council and a minimum of 3 years continuous clinical experience in Critical Care or Emergency Unit.

S/he should have a BLS / ACLS Certificate and other unit specific requirements.

Membership in NNAK and/or relevant chapter / association as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an added advantage.

Clerk of Works Job in Kenya

The ideal candidate should have the following;
  • Degree/Higher Diploma in architecture, building construction, engineering, quantity survey or building economics.
  • A technical background in building construction, project management and/ or quantity surveying.
  • Ability to supervise works at construction sites
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a busy construction environment
  • Must be a quick learner with a good computer background
  • A valid Driving Licence
