CLUSTER ENGINEER NSS

NSS (MGW & MSS Architecture) implementation, O&M and regulatory and quality compliances as per business requirement of NSS network of circle.

Description:

·Responsible for efficient, timely, quality and cost effective implementation of NSS (MGW & MSS Architecture) in line with business plans.

·To achieve NSS quality KPI’s as per organizational and regulatory benchmarks.

·NSS operations for availability of all elements as per organizations benchmarks and within given OPEX limits.

·POI commissioning and augmentation- coordination with PSTN and other operators.

·Regulatory audits and compliances.

· Responsible for cluster revenue and managing revenue leakages within agreed parameters.

·Coordination with IN, VAS nodes and roaming coordination.

Major Responsibilities

Planning : Ensure optimal planning (MGW, MSS, POIs, IN & VAS) for NSS network rollouts in coordination with the Corporate team.
Rollout : Responsible for the timely, qualitative and cost effective rollout new NSS network elements in line with business plan in the cluster
O&M & performance : Fault management, routing and dialing plan changes and NSS Network KPI achievement as per performance benchmarks and business requirements.
Circle revenue and revenue assurance : Responsible for ensuring revenue leakage prevention procedures are in placed and adhered to.
Preventive and curative maintenance : All NSS elements in the cluster. Administration, access control and database of switch room.
Regulatory : Responsible for regulatory compliances, routine regulatory inspections, interception, audits and resolution of technical issues pertaining to law enforcing agencies.

Minimum Requirements


1. Engineering graduate : Telecommunications & Electronics


Skills & Knowledge


1. Experience of rolling out and operations of NSS, IN & VAS network at circle level. :Technical expertise and volume management

2. Knowledge on GSM technologies in switching, VAS & IN. Domain knowledge

3. Knowledge of GSM O&M standards, performance benchmarks, ITUT standards and regulatory norms. Keen learner

4. Knowledge of Six Sigma quality standards. Quality initiative


Work Experience

1 - 3 years in GSM mobile network/ telecom
Level: Engineer/ Assistant Manager
