MANAGER RF PLANNING & OPTIMISATION

Job Summary:

Planning, roll out, optimization, regulatory and quality as per business requirements of RF network.

Description:

· Responsible for efficient, timely, quality and cost effective GSM RF planning, nominal planning and surveys for rollout as per business requirements

·To achieve RF quality KPI’s as per organizational and regulatory benchmarks

·Pre and post optimization

·Network congestion monitoring and timely proposal for resolution in terms of new sites, IBS or optimization

·Comparative RF benchmarking with competition

·Regulatory compliances for frequency planning

· RF complaints analysis and resolution within TAT

·Responsible for RF technical manpower planning and recruitment & development


Major Responsibility/Job Description

Planning :Identify and propose towns for coverage in consultation with Sales & Marketing. Ensure optimal RF planning for network rollouts in coordination with the Corporate team.

Rollout support : Site survey, site validation and the issue of search rings for timely, qualitative and cost effective new optimized network rollout in coordination with Projects and BSS as per business plans in the circle.

Circle revenue and revenue assurance : Highlight network utilization & initiate the Business team to focus on the areas of low capacity utilization so as to achieve maximum sales penetration. Put in place appropriate and timely solutions in place to keep network congestion free.

Regulatory : Responsible for regulatory compliances of submission and frequency planning.

Requirements: Minimum Requirements

Skills & Knowledge/ Functional Skills/ Behavioural Skills

1.Experience of RF planning & rolling out of GSM network at circle level Technical expertise and volume management

2.Knowledge on GSM technologies in RF planning and optimisation./ Domain knowledge

3.Knowledge of GSM standards, performance benchmarks, ITUT standards and regulatory norms./ Keen learner

4.Good people management & development skills, conflict resolution, team building and resource planning. People management and development


Work Experience

Years: 6 - 8 years - Industry / Area : GSM mobile network/ telecom
Age : 30 – 34 years
Level:Manager
