PRESIDING/DEPUTY PRESIDING OFFICER
Job Description
• In charge of election process on the polling day in a polling station.
• Secure and be the custodian of all election materials during the by-election.
• Overall in charge of all the staff in a polling station during the by-election.
NB:The Deputy Presiding Officer will assist the Presiding Officer in carrying out his/her duties

Job Requirement
• Aged 30 years and above
• Must have a degree from a recognized institution
• Should have had experience in dealing with the public affairs for a minimum period of four(4)
years
• Must be in good health
• Must be non partisan and not actively involved in party politics
• Must be persons of integrity
• Preference to be given to those with past election experience.

POLLING /COUNTING CLERK
Applications are invited for the post of Polling and Counting Clerks for the Bomachoge and
Shinyalu Constituencies By-Elections. Applicants should attach copies of Curriculum Vitae
together with Academic and Professional Certificates.

Job Description
To assist and be answerable to the Presiding Officer for the following:•
Setting up of a polling station.
• Facilitating the voting process.
• Directing the elector on the voting process.
• Assist in the counting and tallying of votes

Job Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:•
Aged 18 years and above
• Must have a minimum of C- of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
• Experience in handling the public.
• Must be in good health.
• Must be non partisan.
• Not actively involved in party politics.
• Must be persons of integrity.
• Preference to be given to those with past election experience.
