A leading parastatal in national resource mobilisation with branches all over the
country is seeking to recruit the following key positions in order to improve its
service delivery:
1. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS (ICT) MANAGER
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the ICT Manager will be responsible
for efficient planning, implementation and maintenance of a robust IT system to
enable the organisation serve its customers on a state of the art platform.
The successful candidate is expected to have exceptional skills and flair to design
and manage networked IT solutions to all its areas of interest.
Key responsibilities:
• Development of a versatile IT strategy
• Formulation of a networked IT solution for the organisation
• Implementation of the IT policy as guided by the Board
• Design and implementation of new IT inventory and infrastructure
• Ensure adequate maintenance regime under service level agreements with
vendors; this includes corporate website
• Ensure adequate staff training, deployment and motivation for IT personnel.
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years relevant experience five (5) of which must be in a busy IT
environment
• Bsc in computer science
• Msc in IT design and programmes
• Diploma in advanced packages
• Certified network/system engineer
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision making skills.
• MBA degree will be an added advantage
2. HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources and Administration
Manager will be expected to deliver the HR role in an efficient, proactive and
results-oriented fashion for improved productivity at the workplace. She/he will be
in charge of recruitment, training, promotions, industrial relations, deployment, and
administrative functions of the organisation.
The successful candidate is also expected to engage a vibrant work culture through
a dynamic change management platform to ensure the organisation embraces
best practices at work.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain sound HR policies and systems to foster modern
management culture
• Refine HR and administration strategies to meet the Fund’s objectives
• Establish and maintain an effective mechanism for harmonious employee
relations
• Maintain an effective administrative role including transport management
• Ensure staff are adequately trained, skilled and motivated
• Foster effective communication and policy dissemination at all levels within the
organisation. This includes liaison with the Labour Union in employee relations
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal staff regulations
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Arts or Social Sciences
• Post graduate diploma in Human Resource/Personnel Management
• MBA degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resource Management with at
least five (5) years at senior management level.
• Excellent inter-personal, organisational, strategic and analytical skills.
